Moser 001 Carbon Frameset

The new Moser frameset, all made in Italy, with tubes, frame and painting production completely in Italy. 001 is available custom only and limited edition in exclusive tricolor design. 001 is assembled with BB30 bottom bracket and with headset 1"-1/2"-1"-1/8". The painted frame in size 53 is 880grams. The carbon woven fiber work with DRT (double resistant tech) technology with reinforced tubes with the exclusive design of the rear dropouts allow to double the torsional rigidity and increase the resistence to breakage in the event of a fall while ensuring an extremely high ride "on the speed".

2012 Carrera Phibra Frameset

Developed in the Podium R&D department through collaboration between teams of Italian designers and engineering experts in composite materials, Phibra represents the perfect integration of a futuristic shaped frame with a complex bonded carbon fibre structure, which can be recreated to the biomechanical characteristics of an athlete. The 2B (Double Arc Block) technology used, developed by the Podium R&D department, represents a complete novelty in assembly techniques: two carbon monocoque arc-shaped blocks are bonded with the vertical seat tube creating a compact, balanced structure. In lab tests the mechanical values have proved similar to those of a single monocoque block.
The Teflon cables that run throughout the tubing are specifically designed to reduce the friction factor of the gear and brake wires that they contain, adding the value of durability to the innovative design and technology. There are thus no external additions to compromise the aesthetics and the clean shapes of the frame are fully visible.
Here is the undeniable revolution in the Italian frame tradition: Phibra undoubtedly signals a decisive turning point in the line of road frame development.

Advanced production procedures gained through the years, united with an adventurous research tradition sustained by targeted investments, have guided the Podium Research and Development department to the creation of a frame that is conceptually innovative both in its form and its construction elements.The characteristic shapes of geometrically variable oversize tubing, rational use of rectangular sections, massively oversized housing of the bottom bracket, shaped rear stays and aerodynamically shaped integrated seatpost, unite perfectly with the material used: stratified HM (High Modulus) carbon fibre, diversified and oriented on the basis of the computerised analysis of acting and reacting forces that stress different areas of the frame. The determined lines and the aerodynamic profile of the new Hercules are preserved by the complete absence of external cables, which run throughout the tubing in a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) casing. This plastic polymer is not only capable of reducing the friction factor, but also it has a high resistance against the action of external agents, remaining chemically inert over time.
By achieving perfect symbiosis between shape and substance, the Hercules has an elevated structural efficiency, but also an aggressive aesthetic expression unequalled in the world of road bikes.
