The Hercules RC model has been the genuine team frame from Carrera since 1996 when they invented rear carbon and aluminum frames for the Asics team of Michele Bartoli. This new generation of Hercules RC has been significantly lightened with the use of U2 aluminum by Dedacciai. U2 is "TheThird Metal" and represents the newest technology in ultra light aluminum by combining new elements to increase strength and stiffness but still offer a supple ride. The new Deda Monobox carbon chainstays increase bottom bracket stiffness and does an incredible job of isolating vibration. The Hercules RC is the ultimate racing machine; light, stiff and super lively with a plush all day ride as the added benefit.
