Daccordi Idioma
Count on Daccordi Cycles to be a leader in style and modern design. The latest carbon model, Idioma, epitomizes Italian style. An exquisite bike to look at but even more pleasing to ride and completely made in Italy, the Idioma combines aerodynamic tube shapes matched to a compact rear triangle and a relaxed seat tube. The top tube is horizontal and the quality of carbon along with the frame design absorbs vibration and stress from the road. Daccordi Idioma is professional level race bike in terms of stiffness and reactivity but far more comfortable for us mortals that love the performance without the harshness of ride. Idioma raw frame weighs 990 grams and the straight fork weighs 360 grams. The Idioma utilizes the Deda ICR system of no cable look and uses 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 integrated headset. Brixia Cidneo is no ordinary lightweight carbon road frame. State of the art carbon technology is used with special lay up of carbon from Toray called T1100G. Tommasini’s modern race bike is the aluminum PRP2 model. That’s right, not carbon but superlight and stiff and lively aluminum frame tig welded with custom drawn Deda AEGIS tubes. The tubes are proprietary for Tommasini with Bell shape down tube and special top tube shape that reduces torsion flex. One of favorite bikes is the modern steel frame from Tommasini, The Fire. The Tommasini craftsmen take Columbus Spirit steel tubes and expertly tig weld into a very versatile road machine. The Fire is light and stiff for the club races but has supreme comfort for the long day in the saddle. Fast descending and cornering like on rails mark the handling characteristics of the Fire. The Fire model is offered in rim brake version for road as well as disc brake road and gravel.
Our show bike is 54sloping frame with 56 top tube and 175mm head tube. This disc brake bike is equipped with Shimano Ultegra Di2 disc 12 speed group. Super fast shifting and ultra smooth braking even in wet conditions are features of the popular Ultegra group. The Mannaro is Daccordi’s first gravel model in carbon. It is designed for the gravel rider that requires the lightest possible bike and likes the properties of stiffness and vibration control that carbon frame delivers. The frame is completely designed and made in Italy and Daccordi chose the top quality carbon material Toray T700 for it’s extra rigidity and strength. From a geometry perspective Daccordi lowered the bottom bracket height in order to create extra stability and compacted the frame with extra tight steering angle to make the bike very responsive on the most curvy trails. Columbus supplies the XCR stainless steel tubes built to Tommasini shapes and dimension. So the frame is the most personalized available on the market. Threaded bottom bracket (no press fit), standard seatpost 31.6 (no proprietary or integrated), cable routing that works.
